Is this life "real life?"

I have been back in Virginia for three days now and I am still trying to return to "real life."

No more smiling children...

Strangers can no longer trust one another...

Love no longer grows in the absence of communication...

And curiosity is back to killing the cat...

This cannot be "real life"
